Meet The Founder
I launched AMMARA to make shirts that wear like modern-day armour. With 10 years in luxury fashion, my own clothing line, and a Harvard MBA under my wing, I wanted to create the very thing that gave me confidence throughout my career: a really, really great shirt.
In 2016, AMMARA was born: thoughtfully-tailored, luxurious shirts that are made in New York, sold without the retail markup and named after strong, inspirational women.
We’re committed to giving back, too. AMMARA partners with a new charity every year. Our 2019 partnership is with Bottomless Closet, a New York City-based organization that works to reduce the barriers many financially underprivileged women face in search of employment.
